To the Drake Fans: Here’s a Thank Me Later KTD Analysis
Written in September 2021, from the KAVE.
Hey guys, recently I’ve been really interested in learning how to describe astrology and teach in ways they can also relate to our every day tasks, like listening to music. Why not start with one of the biggest stars in the world? I’ve been a drake fan since I was literally 10 years old, and I don’t know why I haven’t looked into the astrology of albums, like I have into people. The reason astrology is so interesting to me is because of its art, The interpretation that comes with looking for patterns, that eventually become facts. If I can start showing y’all how I see certain things, I feel like I can unlock something in you that allows you to see certain things in your own life. I’m all about still teaching, so this is just the analysis, there’s not much explanation, but I tried my best to make it clear to read. It’s all over the place, of course, thats me, but I just want to work on being confident in even MY own learning process. I think the best part of putting myself in this teacher position is that I’m willing to become the student at any time.
If y’all have any more albums or artists you’re interested in me studying and analyzing the charts for , comment below!
FYI, I’ve been studying entrepreneurs charts for the past few months and specifically looking at Mercury and Venus placements and how these affect the type of business you have, the way you sell this business, and the abundance that can come from it. If y’all are interested in me going deeper into this, or making a guide, let me know!
Enjoy! Remember, this is konnecting. So some interpretations may not be straight from astrology but a combination of astrology and my own messages picked up intuitvely.

Thank Me Later Analysis:
- Aquarius Rising = Fireworks being the first song (Fireworks are ruled by Uranus, Uranus is ruled by Aquarius)
- Uranus in First House (Song #1 is Fireworks)
- Later = Future, Aquarius rules the future / things ahead of our time
- Drake is looking up/forward in the album cover , representing Aquarius energy being ahead & staying ahead
- 663=6 . His first album was released on a 6 day, calls himself the 6 God (6/15/2010)
- Released at 23 years old, Chariklo is at 23° , Chariklo creates a 6 pointed star in the sky , Drake is 6 GOD, GODs are in the heavens (higher realms) , Aquarius rules high places/authority.
- 23=5, the 1st house is the 5th house derived from the 9th house that Chariklo sits in. Shows that the album’s debut was an expression/announcement of a creation made by a star ahead of his time .
- 5 also shows how this album changed the game . 5 rules changes while 6 is the result of the change
- Chariklo is a star of creation, destiny, miracles, & divination
- Chariklo in Scorpio (Drake is a Scorpio) at 23° shows the destiny of this publication was to transform the blessings & energy of drakes life
- Chariklo was considered a shaman (9th house energy) and a shape shifter . You can see on the album cover that the image is glitching, or changing from black to red. Clearly Chariklo is a representation of Drake , but we knew that when we saw the Scorpio energy influencing how Chariklo worked.
- Chariklo also takes a big play in the success of the album due to the way he can go from rapping to singing, and made that the way he stood out.
- Venus exact Moon in Leo shows how he received love (and hate) for the way he expressed his emotions/feminine qualities in such an emotionless/masculine industry
-
- Saturn in the 7th house shows that long term rewards (success, from Saturn) can also bring challenges (also Saturn) from relationships (7th house
- Moon and Venus in the 6th making an exact trine to Jupiter in the 1st house. Venus (love) is conjunct the ruler (Moon) of the 5th house . Which means the 5th house (romance, relationships, dating) is the 12th house derived from the 6th house. The 12th house is seeking, finding, looking for something far far away. (find) . The 1st house is the life mission. The Venus and Moon making a trine to Jupiter in what would be the 8th house derived from the 6th house shows the same “Jupiter in the 8th house” vibes I saw on CLB. It also shows me that there would be a song about romance/love(5th house) , the secrets/private life of it/emotions about it(Venus), the discovery of the heart and the way it can tear apart but come back together through discovery (12°, Pisces, Jupiter ruled), Juno (12th house derived) is at 3°, and Find Your Love was the 3rd most streamed song on that album. Jupiter trine Venus and moon bring a very good receptivity of love, popularity, and fortune.
- Moon trine Uranus and Venus trine Uranus show his change/shift to completely singing and doing something “out of the box” would work very well for him, and the way he put himself out there from that point moving forward since Uranus is in the 1st house (the path)
- Over was the most popular song on this album.
- Sun in 4th house at 23° . Over is the 4th song. 4th house is the resting place, the grave, the end . But so is the 12th house. But I think the 12th house is more so the beginning that previews the end. Sun = life , ego , Sun is “me”
- Sun in Gemini in the 4th house , “Till it’s over, but it’s far from over.” Because it’s just getting started. The 4th house is the base. It’s the basement. It’s our roots, the most private part of our life, what we hold close/near. The Sun shining a light right on the house of the womb AND the grave = “Till its over (grave), but it’s far from over (womb, birth)”
“I know way too many people here right now that I didn’t know last year, who the fuck are y’all?” Mercury in the 3H is the 12H (the house of unknown, unseen) when looking at the 4H. (derivative astrology) Sun. Mercury represents multiples, varieties of people, and questioning and answering things. That’s literally what he’s doing with this song. Asking a question and then answering it with a fact, or making a fact and then asking a question. “What am I doing? What am I doing? What am I doing? Oh yeah that’s right I’m doing me” , the 4H represents the Sun (aka the “me” in the lyric) He is the life in the grave. Life = Sun, 4H = grave and womb, home, our comfort zone.
- Sun is trine Ascendant . Ascendant = the album , Sun = life, fame and what you’re well known for, popularity, energy, courage , leadership, the focus, the center
- Sun is trine Neptune. Neptune = music, the collective energy, loss, (the end), faith, darkness/nightmares . Sun brings life to an ending, a loss, a memory. “Till it’s over, but it’s far from over.”
- Venus exact Moon in 6th house - showing love/appreciation for a female/feminine co-worker of his that happens to be well known/famous (“I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I admit it.), also “Up All Night” featuring Nicki Minaj (moon represents the night time, shift, the cycle) was the 2nd most popular song .
- “I could teach you how to speak my language Rosetta Stone” - Mercury in 3H Gemini . 3H rules learning , Mercury rules speaking, Gemini rules languages. To take it even further, we see that Mercury is in a tight 2º opposition with the MC, the Midheaven , our public image and status. Oppositions are basically like two sides of the same coin. They involve energies that are in polarity with one another. Positive and negative are exact opposites, yet one couldn’t exist without the other. Mercury (the album’s words and lyrics) touching the album’s Sagittarius MC (a public image that involves Sagittarius energy, Sagittarius rules teaching and higher knowledge) explains this lyric. Mercury (languages) opposing the MC (teaching, career) also represents how the lyrics and words play a huge role in the success of the album. Which they did. If Drake’s words weren’t actually hitting people and mentally stimulating people, the opposition would play out in the more negative and difficult way, like not being well understood by the public.
- Mars opposite Neptune (same aspect as Certified Lover Boy) in the 7th / 1st house axis shows the “Two thumbs up, Ebert and Roeper . Mars rules dissection, cutting apart, cutting, and it also represents business and being a force in the industry you’re in. When you’re a force, you apply power to what you do… Ebert and Roeper were force in the critics industry and it starred two MEN, Mars rules Men. The THUMB is ruled by Mars. Neptune rules movies and film. Two people, which is a partnership (the 7th house) + their thumbs (Mars in the seventh house).
- Mars opposite Neptune and squaring Mercury . Mars square Mercury shows a possible harsh form of communication from business partners (“two thumbs up” , 7th house) directly affecting films (“Ebert and Roper” were film critics that gave a thumbs up (Mars) or a thumbs down(Neptune), but because it’s square Mercury , it shows that his tension towards critics/quick relationships when he says “but I really can’t complain” is solved through taking the information (Gemini) & using it as a lyric (Virgo))
I will actually add onto this as I get more time to decode the album. For now, I wanna do some more outside of Drake and some of his other albums.
